About me

Meet Dr. Cléo Salustiano

Dr. Cléo Salustiano, dentist in Mooca, São Paulo
A career devoted to smiles

Born in Pernambuco and raised in São Paulo since my first year of life, I carry the northeastern roots that shaped my story: strength, simplicity and determination. At 33, I look back on my path with pride. Becoming a dentist was a dream built with a lot of effort, discipline and the certainty that giving up was never an option. Resilience and persistence brought me here. At the office, I care for every patient with empathy, attention and love for what I do. For me, caring for a smile means caring for a life story, for self-esteem and for a confidence that deserve real attention. I believe good care goes beyond technique: it comes from listening, respect and a genuine commitment to each person's well-being.

Education and areas of work

Dr. Cléo holds a degree in Dentistry from Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (UNICID, 2020–2024) and furthered her training with a lato sensu postgraduate program in Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry at Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic (2025–2026), a well-known dental school in Brazil. Her areas of work include: • Composite and porcelain veneers ("dental contact lenses") — bonding and layering techniques aimed at a natural, long-lasting look • Minimally invasive dentistry — preserving as much of the natural tooth as possible • Occlusion and functional rehabilitation — restoring worn smiles with attention to gum health • Individual planning — examination, photos and an explanation of every step before starting, with no promise of results

How I work: transparency, precision and care

More than a dentist, I am a professional driven by purpose. I built my career with dedication and vision, combining technical knowledge and caring, personal treatment in work that respects every patient as unique. As a business owner, I know that a high-quality practice takes more than clinical skill: it requires commitment to quality, attention to detail and continuous improvement. I keep investing in training and in the office structure to offer safe, modern and welcoming care. I lead my work with the same resilience and persistence that marked my path — always focused on what matters most: the health, trust and well-being of those who trust me with their smile. I believe professionalism and empathy go together. That combination defines how I conduct every appointment and every decision at my office.

FAQ

Answers to the most common questions

Do veneers and "dental contact lenses" hurt?

+

The procedure is minimally invasive and done with local anesthesia when needed, so discomfort is usually low. Each case is assessed individually at the appointment.

How long do "dental contact lenses" last?

+

With proper care they can last for many years. At the assessment, we explain the maintenance and the habits that help them last longer.

What is the difference between a veneer and a "dental contact lens"?

+

They are similar techniques, but the "contact lens" (as ultra-thin veneers are called in Brazil) is thinner and requires minimal (or no) reduction of the tooth. Which one is right depends on your case and your aesthetic goal.

How does the first assessment work?

+

It is a conversation to understand your goals, check your oral health and plan the right treatment, with clear information about the steps and the cost. Care is available in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Can I book online without calling?

+

Yes. With the "Book" button on this website or on Dr. Cléo Salustiano's Google profile, you see the open times and book your assessment yourself, at any time of day or night (the booking page is in Portuguese). Appointments are Monday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., at Rua Hipódromo, 1141, Mooca. If you'd rather ask questions first, message us on WhatsApp.
